Beschreibung

Feel invited to join us on April 24, 2023, starting at 2pm (CET), for our online workshop on "Sequence Models & the Scientific Field", held by our research group "How is Artificial Intelligence Changing Science? Research in the Era of Learning Algorithms".

This workshop is going to be the second installment of our digital workshop series ai\research\explorations on the intersections of artificial intelligence and scientific practice:

How and to what extent are sequence models and their current advances, e.g. in the fields of natural language processing and computer vision, of interest for science and research with artificial intelligence? Which perspectives on sequence models and their impact on scientific practices and epistemologies are not sufficiently illuminated in current professional discourses?

Scholars from various disciplines (including computer science, philosophy, history of science, computer linguistics, and media studies) will discuss these and other topics with all attendees and the members of the research group.

The online workshop will be held via ZOOM, let us know via email to contact.howisaichangingscience@gmail.com if you would like to join so we can send you the meeting link.
