Beschreibung

Next week, the German Informatics Society as part of the Ecosystem Formally Verifiable IT presents the next part of our new webinar series “Trustworthy Tuesday”. Once a month at 2pm CET, researchers will present their work in the field of formal verification as part of our “snackable science” format.

We want to break down the complex topic of formal verification and trustworthy IT into small bites. A short input and a discussion round will provide you with insights into research approaches and best practices.

We invite students, experts and other interested parties to “snack” on this new knowledge after your lunch break.

For our next session on November 11th, Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Kunz will give an introduction to formal hardware verification with his talk “Designing correct and secure chips: how can formal methods help?”. Wolfgang Kunz is Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the RPTU Rheinland-Pfälzische Technische Universität Kaiserslautern-Landau and holder of the Electronic Design Automation Chair.
