DESCRIPTION:Abstract:\n\nThe concepts of Authentication and Authorization p
 lay an important role for securing services and data. With the emergence of
  Multi- and Hybrid-Cloud Patterns a new challenge arises for secure Authent
 ication across domains, while privacy of employee or customer information i
 s more important than ever.\n\nIn this talk we want to explain some of the 
 key challenges with today’s Identity & Access Management (IAM) and why we u
 ltimately built a new open source IAM, ZITADEL, to change the traditional b
 usiness-model and principles of IAM solutions for example by\n\n\n\nOptimiz
 ing for day-two operations and elasticity with a cloud-native architecture\
 n\nIncluding all security-related functions (like MFA, Passwordless) in the
  core of the product\n\nBuilding a solid audit trail through event-sourcing
 \n\nEncouraging automation and easy integration of lifecycle management\n\n
 \n\nYou will gain a better understanding of IAM concepts and themes such as
 \n\n\n\nFederation / IAM Service\n\nHuman to machine interaction (SSO, Pass
 wordless)\n\nMachine to machine interaction (Service Accounts, Delegation)\
 n\nID Brokering\n\nUser and access management self-service\n\nWorkflow inte
 gration with APIs & Webhooks\n\n\n\n\n\nSpeaker:\n\nFlorian Forster, CEO of
  CAOS, is an IT security fanatic with extensive knowledge of electronic ide
 ntities. Florian participated in the IAM workgroup of eCH, is a member of t
 he OpenID Foundation and headed, prior to starting CAOS, an eGovernment tea
 m focussing on IAM topics.\n\n
