 ungsaufgabe" wird am 12. Februar 2025 Prof. Dr. Gerhard Schwabe Einblicke g
 eben zum Thema "An Extra Brain in the Room: Enhancing Brainstorming with a 
 Digital Teammate".\n\n\n\nGerhard Schwabe has been a full professor at the 
 University of Zurich since 2002. His research interests focus on the inters
 ection of collaborative technologies and information management. He has pub
 lished in major IS conferences, IS journals, and computer science conferenc
 es (like CHI, CSCW, and ICSE). Currently, his research interests focus on G
 enerative AI applications, Human AI collaboration, human drone collaboratio
 n, and government as a platform. He is currently a senior editor of ISJ and
  JIT and president of the Swiss Chapter of the AIS.\n\n\n\nZusammenfassung 
 seines Vortrags:\n\nWe explore the possibility to add a digital teammate in
 to Brainstorming sessions. While in prior research digital assistants have 
 supported human brainstorming participants, we include the digital teammate
  as autonomous participant. In this talk, I will present the challenges int
 o setting up the digital teammate and controlling its behavior, so that it 
 becomes an accepted productive participant. We will furthermore offer insig
 hts from evaluations. We propose ' AI-Thinklets' as a new approach to struc
 ture and control hybrid human-AI Teams. This research has been conducted in
  close collaboration with XLeap, who has just included the Generative-AI-ba
 sed digital agent into their collaboration suite.
