SUMMARY:International Conference on Formal Concept Analysis
DESCRIPTION:The ICFCA conference series is the major biennial event of the 
 Formal Concept Analysis research community. The 17th International Conferen
 ce on Formal Concept Analysis, ICFCA 2023, aims to bring together researche
 rs and\n\npractitioners working on both theoretical and practical aspects o
 f Formal Concept Analysis, as well as its applications in various applicati
 on fields like data mining, machine learning, software engineering, semanti
 c web, social and environmental sciences.\n\nFormal Concept Analysis emerge
 d in the 1980’s from attempts to restructure lattice theory in order to pro
 mote better communication between lattice theorists and potential users of 
 lattice theory. Since its early years, Formal Concept\n\nAnalysis has devel
 oped into a research field in its own right with a thriving theoretical com
 munity and a rapidly expanding range of applications in information and kno
 wledge processing including visualization, data analysis (mining) and knowl
 edge management and discovery.\n\nICFCA 2023 will be hosted at the Universi
 ty of Kassel. It will be a hybrid conference with a strong emphasis on on-s
 ite interaction.
