SUMMARY:11th GI Conference on Autonomous Systems
DESCRIPTION:Topics\n\nAutonomous operation is increasingly becoming more im
 portant for computing systems and communication networks due to the more an
 d more complex environments they are working in. Therefore, this conference
  addresses methods and solutions enabling such systems to independently ada
 pt themselves to changed environmental conditions, and to process external 
 requests dependably, safely and timely.\n\n\n\nContributions and Publicatio
 n\n\nTo achieve its objective, viz. intensive scientific exchange and fruit
 ful discussions, the size of this conference is intentionally kept small. M
 oreover, following a rule originally set by NATO for its scientific events,
  the conference will take place in "relative seclusion". Hosting all partic
 ipants in the same hotel and including full board in the conference fee, fi
 nally makes things easy and fosters relaxed group interaction.\n\n\n\nThe c
 onference contributions will be published by VDI-Verlag in the series Forts
 chritt-Berichte.
